Celebrating 20 Years of Service - Jackie
This month we celebrated our much beloved housekeeper Jackie, who has worked for Kenton Hall care home for the last 20 years. This is a superb achievement, and we appreicate her loyalty, her commitment and her work. She is a cherished member of our team.
Caribbean Day!
We decided as we couldn’t take our residents to the Caribbean we would bring the Caribbean to our Residents – much fun and very enjoyable.
World Chocolate Day!
We themed our whole day around chocolate, some people dream about this kind of day! We remembered the great film Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, and wrapped chocolate for each resident, in one bar there was a Golden Ticket, as well as enjoying the classic, Chocolat. Our activities team also put together a great visual display documenting the historical significance of the sweet treat.
Wheelchair Beautification Month
Our residents enjoyed decorating their wheelchairs, and were proud to show off their hard work to their friends and families. Don’t they look spectacular!
Olympics 2021
We just missed out on tickets and flights to the Japan 2021 Olympics, this did not deter us; we held our own and of course brought home the Gold!
